Hello, Arlington Magazine Readers!

Spend Time with Golden Boot this Summer

Thanks for stopping by to check us out. We've been teaching DC area players about the joys and thrills of soccer for nearly 30 years, and we're excited to have the chance to do the same for your family.

See below for our 2025 camp options. Use the code ARLMAG10 to save $10 per registration for camps outside Arlington, with the exception of Town of Vienna camps and Italian Soccer Academy. (We are not permitted to discount County camps -- sorry!)

Are you a federal or federal-adjacent family? If you are reluctant to make plans with us because of a recent job loss, or a potential job loss, please reach out to discuss scholarships, installment payments and/or refund flexibility.

Join us at camp close to home this summer! We're offering two stand-alone weeks through Arlington County Parks & Recreation, with camps for players 5-13:

  • July 21-25 at Kenmore Middle School
  • July 28-August 1 at Thomas Jefferson Community Center

Both weeks feature lots of outdoors (with shade tents and regular rest/water breaks), but also time in the cool a/c to train, eat lunch, or just cool down. We know that players feel better and have more fun when they're not out in the sun the whole day.

Click on the program name to learn more about curriculum, hours, etc.

Or follow the links below for even more options for players 3-16, from summer camps to weekly Saturday morning classes, to custom training/classes for ages 3+.

Summer Camps

Locations in McLean, Fairfax, Burke, Vienna, and Arlington. Players are grouped by age and level; special travel-only sections are available. Visit our Summer Camp page for more info, including schedules.

  • VIP Training Week (7-14): Take advantage of the opportunity to learn from professional coaches, college coaches, professional players, and high-level technical directors -- all in one place. Each day will feature two nationally known coaches with extensive experience developing top-tier players -- one expert in the morning and another in the afternoon. These experts actively plan and run their own sessions, sharing their unique experiences, philosophies and methods directly with young up-and-coming players as they put them through their paces.

  • Italian Soccer Academy Week (7-16): For nearly two decades, Golden Boot Soccer has been bringing European-style play to the DC area. We are currently proud to partner with the Italian Soccer Academy, which offers high-level training in technique and strategy, anchored by experienced trainers steeped in the methodology of professional clubs. The curriculum will be based on the Italian Soccer Academy methodology and inspired by Italian pro teams. Selected players will have the opportunity to participate in tournaments in Italy and/or Colombia.

  • Lil' Boots Juniors (3-4): Lil’ Boots Juniors is the perfect introduction to the wonderful game of soccer. The program is designed to initiate a positive experience while teaching the fundamentals of the game through fun storytelling activities.

  • Lil' Boots Advanced (5-6): An innovative and interactive program that keeps players engaged and excited about the game. Players will explore soccer techniques through challenges and skill-building sessions and develop physical, social, and cognitive skills. The program will include competition activities but no scrimmages, and is suitable for both beginners and those who have previous soccer experience.

  • Ball Mastery (7-8): A vital "bridge" between introductory classes and more advanced technical training, developed with young players in mind. The program consists of age-appropriate activities centered around the fundamental skills of the game to ensure a smooth transition to the next level.

  • Positive Touch Footskills (9-13): Players will master their “touch” on the ball, laying the foundation for every dribble, pass, and shot. It is designed to give players thousands of touches on the ball and allows players to develop a variety of dribbling methods, learn crafty moves, be creative and build confidence.

  • Art of Scoring Goals (9-13): Learn a variety of shooting techniques, enhance power and accuracy, develop an ability to get into scoring positions, learn goalkeeper's vulnerabilities, increase awareness in front of the goal, and build confidence as a goal scorer. The program is suitable for players in all field positions and not just forwards.

  • Goalkeeper Training (8-13): Goalkeeper Training teachers players to confidently and successfully repel attacks, by developing specific technical, physical, and cognitive skill sets, including ball handling, reaction time, positioning, footwork and more.

Weekly Summer Skills Classes

Saturday morning classes in McLean and Fairfax. Help your player keep the skills they learned in the spring, or give them a chance to develop new techniques before the fall season starts. Visit our Summer Weekly Programs page for more info, including schedules.
