Winter Classes & Programs Coming Soon

“Thank you! My sons are really enjoying the clinic and I’ve seen both of them attempt things they have been learning while playing in the yard or on the actual game field. Each kid seems to be perpetually grinning (or intensely concentrating!) and even on the side watching, the two hours really seem to fly by”

Get Ready for Winter 2026-2027!

Our Winter 2026-2027 schedule and registration will be available soon! We'll have options for everyone, all carefully designed with an eye towards player development. Indoor classes are offered in two separate, 7-week seasons, with weekday and weekend options available. Winter I starts Dec. 3 and ends Jan. 29. (There will be no classes Dec. 24-Jan. 1.) Winter II runs Jane. 30 through March 19, with no skipped weeks. Both stand-alone seasons will open for registration at the same time; players do not have to participate in one to sign up for the other.

Please note that to maintain a high quality of play, our travel-only sections will have a new application process. Should players not be deemed ready to participate, their registration fee will be refunded in full.

  • Indoor group soccer skills training: Ages 3-13 at three locations, with options for weekend and weekday classes
  • JCC of Northern Virginia in Fairfax (just off 495  on Little River Turnpike)
  • OneLife Fitness Tysons in McLean
  • Gesher Jewish Day School near the Fairfax County Government Center (convenient to 66, Rt. 50 and the Fairfax County Parkway)
  • Soccer on Demand: Private training or custom mini groups, with days/times/locations that work for you
  • Lil' Boots Playgroups: Gather a group of friends, classmates, teammates or neighbors and enjoy a fun, active introduction to soccer on your schedule. We'll even help you find an indoor (or outdoor) location.

About Our Waitlists

Space is limited and classes in both indoor winter sessions fill extremely quickly. When a program is full, we automatically start a waitlist and stay in contact with those families. If we are unable to accommodate your player, we will refund your registration fee in full.

Programs

Here are some of the classes we offer.

  • VIP Training (9-13)

Our flagship winter clinic series is back! Each class in this 7-week series is taught by a different nationally known coach with extensive experience developing top-tier players. These experts don't farm the hard work out to junior staff -- each actively plans and runs their own session, sharing their unique experiences, philosophies and methods directly with young up-and-coming players.

  • StreetSoccer (9-13)

Informal scrimmages on neighborhood streets are where many of the best soccer players around the world got their start.  Our StreetSoccer program builds on this to feature a variety of fun pickup-style games using different size teams, goals and balls. This "hidden curriculum" creates a fun, low-stakes environment where players improve creativity, ball control, 1v1 skills, and confidence.

  • CognoSoccer (9-13)

Boost "soccer IQ" with our targeted CognoSoccer program, which teaches athletes to play soccer with their head as well as their feet. By adding "thinking skills" to the traditional emphasis on technical skills and physical fitness, we engage the brain and enable it to build new neural pathways, enabling players to think faster than the game's pace and see several moves ahead. Improve decision-making, field awareness, reaction time, and more.

  • Just for Girls (9-13)

Taught by experienced, positive female trainers, this supportive, girls-only program for players 7-13 is all about finding your stride on and off the field. Players will work on foot skills, 1v1 play, passing and receiving, and more. But they'll also discuss communication, teamwork, healthy eating, and other aspects of being a modern female athlete.

  • Travel Prep (7-11)

Designed for players who are aiming for travel team tryouts in the spring, or for those who are ready for more of a challenge. Our carefully crafted curriculum is designed to further develop ball control, passing and receiving, shooting, and more -- the skills coaches are looking for. We also cover tryout preparedness, how to organize your warmup, and other techniques to help players stand out and do their best.

    Travel-only and open sections available.

  • Art of Scoring Goals (8-10)

Learn a variety of shooting techniques, enhance power and accuracy, develop an ability to get into scoring positions, learn goalkeeper's vulnerabilities, increase awareness in front of the goal, and build confidence as a goal scorer. The program is suitable for players in all field positions and not just forwards.

Our VIP section takes training to an even higher level, by featuring a series of college and pro team clinicians.

  • Art of Defending (8-10)

Players will learn to defuse the other team's offensive strategy and stop a developing attack. They'll learn how to read the other team and position themselves to effectively block shots, intercept passes, and immediately turn the tables to set their own teammates up for success.

  • Skills360 (9-13)

Players will master their “touch” on the ball, laying the foundation for every dribble, pass, and shot. It is designed to give players thousands of touches on the ball and allows players to develop a variety of dribbling methods, learn crafty moves, be creative and build confidence.

  • Goalkeeper Training (8-13)

Goalkeeper Training teachers players to confidently and successfully repel attacks, by developing specific technical, physical, and cognitive skill sets,  including ball handling, reaction time, positioning, footwork and more.

  • Speed & Agility (9-13)

Players will improve the explosion of their first step and increase speed, quickness, endurance, and nimbleness while developing technical skills. An excellent off-season training opportunity to improve reaction time, balance, and motoric coordination to support technical skill growth.

  • Ball Mastery (7-8)

A vital "bridge" between introductory classes and more advanced technical training, developed with young players in mind. The program consists of age-appropriate activities centered around the fundamental skills of the game to ensure a smooth transition to the next level.

  • Lil' Boots Advanced (5-6)

Suitable for both slightly older beginners and those who have had some earlier exposure to soccer, Lil' Boots Advanced is an active, age-appropriate, fun introduction to soccer for school-aged players. They will learn fundamental skills through creative activities and challenges, plus explore the concept of team play in a positive, supportive way. They will develop physical skills like coordination and balance, plus important cognitive skills like listening, communication, and problem-solving.

  • Lil' Boots Juniors (3-4)

Lil’ Boots Juniors is the perfect introduction to the wonderful game of soccer. The program is designed to initiate a positive experience while teaching the fundamentals of the game through fun storytelling activities.
